Hello, fellow crafters! I’m Caroline Brooks, & I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining the wonderful Scrapbook Easily community. With a passion for paper-crafting that spans over two decades, I’m here to share my knowledge, tips, & inspiration with all of you. Whether you're a seasoned scrapbooker or just starting out, I’m excited to embark on this creative journey together.
A Little About Me
I hail from the vibrant city of Brisbane, Australia. Growing up in a close-knit countryside community, I was inspired by my grandmother’s quilts & my mother’s handmade greeting cards. This early exposure to crafting set me on a cherished path.
I pursued Arts at the University of Queensland, where I explored various art forms, but paper crafting truly captured my heart. After graduation, I taught workshops at a local craft store, deepening my love for the craft & igniting a passion to share it with a wider audience.
My Crafting Philosophy
Crafting, to me, is more than just a hobby – it’s a way of life. It’s about expressing creativity, preserving memories, & finding joy in the little things. My tutorials are detailed & easy to follow, catering to all skill levels. There’s no right or wrong way to create; it’s all about enjoying the process & letting your imagination run wild.
Personal Touches
When I’m not crafting, you’ll find me spending time with my family. I have two grown-up children & three delightful grandchildren: non-identical twins aged 6 – a boy & a girl who love crafting with their "Nana Caroline" – & a curious 2-year-old grandson.
We love exploring the outdoors, gardening, & baking treats together. I’m also an avid reader of mystery novels & a passionate traveller, drawing inspiration from new cultures & cuisines for my crafting projects.
